What are FIZZERS?
Fizzers attract fish using sound...
...they also expand your Detection Zone (DZ), meaning: you can draw-in fish from further afield (see tank tests).

Attraction by Sound
Fizzers emit frequencies that fall within the Carp’s auditory range. They mimic the fish's prey, provoking them to curiosity. Generally speaking, most anglers appeal to the 2 main senses of sight and smell, but Carp, Barbel too, are excellent hearers. Inside their heads are small stones called Otoliths (ear stones)... when sound waves travel through water, they pass through the fish relatively unobstructed (because their flesh is comparable to the density of water), but, because the ear stones are dense, the sound waves cannot pass through these but instead 'displaces' them, and this displacement triggers signals to the brain to communicate information about the sound: is it good, bad, irrelevant, or worth investigating? Fizzers provoke fish toward curiosity, and even to investigate/eat! (See tank tests & Testimonials).

The Principle of Stacking
Stacking is the intention of an angler to increase the number of cues in their fishing set-up which combined, tip the needle in favour of, not away from, a 'take'. (Crucial for those pursuing old, wily fish!). Example: take a plastic lure in the shape of a shrimp... it has 1 feature: its 'look'. But if you dipped it in shrimp flavour, it now has 2 features: 'look & smell'. And if you fished it where shrimp live, you've added locational correspondence... and if it were to sound like a shrimp, that's a 4th cue... and if it moved like a shrimp, that's a 5th cue, and so on. This principle of increasing the number of "carp-relevant cues" communicates 'this is safe, this is real' and tips that needle!
Expanding the Detection Zone (DZ)
The concentration levels of a compound in water are expressed as a PPM count (parts-per-million) or 'particle count'. The higher the PPM, the more compound there is diffused in the water. For example, in comparison to normal bag fishing, since Fizzers can disperse the contents of a bag much further and wider than a bag without a Fizzer, the concentration levels (PPM count) are much greater at further distances, and this means that the fish can be drawn-in from further afield (see tank tests).

Small Margins, Big Results
Fizzers are to be thought of like a sprinter trying to knock a hundredth of a second off his PB! Although that hundredth of a second is small, it is significant! It can be the difference between catching half a dozen special fish in a season, to landing that 7th or 8th special one! (See Testimonials)
Fizzers comprise human food grade ingredients; high quality bait products; are close to pH neutral; have a component that feeds the lower order aquatic Life, and have the same footprint as leaves decaying in water. Use within the season.
We hope they work for you as much as we know they do.
